Weather permitting, testing of the outdoor warning siren system is conducted on the first Wednesday of the month at noon. In the event the first Wednesday test is canceled, the alternate test date will be the second Wednesday at noon. If there are poor weather conditions on the second Wednesday, the test will be postponed till the next regularly scheduled first Wednesday.
NOTE: City of Huntsville and City of Madison areas in Limestone County will hear siren testing on the second Tuesday of the month at 9 a.m. as sirens in those areas are activated by Limestone County EMA.
