Madison County is updating the Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan.
The current plan is a regional plan for the Alabama Emergency Management Agency Division F and covers several counties in northeast Alabama, including Madison County and is available here: Regional Mitigation Plan – Huntsville-Madison County Emergency Management Agency. We ask that you review the Madison County portions of this plan and provide any comments to be considered as the plan is updated. The updated 2025 plan will be a standalone Madison County specific plan. Please submit your comments by December 21, 2025.
